About QQ Consultants

Engineering is the easy half.

The hard half is judgement — knowing what to build, what to leave out, and when to tell a client that the thing they asked for is not the thing they need. That is the part we have built the firm around.

Who we are

A full-spectrum firm, deliberately.

QQ Consultants works across UI, UX and CX design, software development, IoT, hardware design, engineering and production. That breadth is a choice, not an accident of growth.

Most digital work fails at the seams — between the designer and the developer, between the app and the device, between the system that was built and the operation that has to run it. Holding the whole span in one team is how we remove those seams instead of managing them.

We work with founders shipping a first version and with enterprises modernising estates that have been accumulating since before the cloud. The methods scale to fit; the standards do not move.

By the numbers

How the practice is organised

  • Nine service lines covering strategy, design, build, data, security and run
  • Six industry practices with domain context already in the room
  • A five-stage method applied to every engagement, at every size
  • Three engagement models — project, embedded pod or advisory retainer
  • One accountable lead from first call through to post-launch support
Our foundation

What the firm is built on.

01

Mission

To turn ideas into working systems that earn their keep — measured in productivity recovered, customers retained and cost taken out, not in features delivered.

02

Vision

To be the partner organisations call when the work genuinely matters: when the system has to hold, the data has to reconcile and the deadline is real.

03

Promise

We will tell you what we actually think. If a smaller build gets you further, we will say so — even when the larger one is the better invoice.

What sets us apart

Four things clients tell us are different.

Not claims we invented in a workshop — the reasons people give when we ask why they came back for the second project.

Full-spectrum under one roof

Design, software, hardware, IoT, cloud and data live in the same firm. Fewer handovers means fewer places for intent to leak out of a project.

Senior people on the actual work

The people in your kickoff are the people writing the code. We do not staff a pitch with principals and deliver with juniors.

Engineering with an exit plan

Documented, tested, conventionally built. If you take the system in-house next year, your team can pick it up without calling us — and that is the point.

Startup to enterprise

We size the process to the company. A seed-stage team gets momentum and a lean stack; a regulated enterprise gets the governance its auditors expect.

Our principles

The terms we work under.

Ship in Increments

Two-week cycles, a working build at the end of each one. Priorities can change between sprints without derailing the plan — that is the point of working this way.

Glass-Box Delivery

Your team sees the same board, the same burndown and the same repository we do. No status theatre, and no surprises revealed at the demo.

Support That Outlives Launch

Launch day is a milestone, not an exit. Monitoring, SLAs and an improvement backlog are part of the engagement, not an upsell afterwards.

Secure by Default

Threat modelling in design, dependency scanning in the pipeline, least privilege in the infrastructure. Security is a property of the build, not a phase at the end.

Industries

Sectors we transform.

Financial Services & Fintech

Ledger-accurate systems, payment rails and onboarding journeys built to withstand audit, reconcile to the cent and stay available through month-end peaks.

Retail & Commerce

Storefronts, inventory and fulfilment that hold their shape when a campaign lands. We tune for the checkout conversion rate, not the homepage animation.

Healthcare & Life Sciences

Clinical and patient-facing tools with privacy engineered in from the schema up, and audit trails that stand on their own when a regulator asks.

Telecommunications

High-throughput provisioning, billing and network-adjacent systems where a queue backing up is a customer-facing outage.

Education & EdTech

Learning platforms that stay usable at the start of term, when every student in the cohort logs in during the same ten minutes.

Public Sector & Nonprofits

Services built to procurement standards and open-records expectations, designed to be accessible to every citizen who has to use them.
