Frequently askedQuestions we get asked before the first call.
Straight answers, no hedging. If what you need to know is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it than have you guess.
Working with QQ Consultants.
We are a full-spectrum design and engineering firm: UI, UX and CX design, custom software development, IoT, hardware design, engineering and production. In practice that means we can take a concept through research, design, build, security review, deployment and ongoing support without handing it to a third party halfway through.
Financial services and fintech, retail and commerce, healthcare and life sciences, telecommunications, education, and the public and nonprofit sector. Those are where our domain depth is greatest, but the underlying engineering transfers — if your sector is not on the list, ask us.
Yes. We are headquartered in Irvine, California and deliver worldwide. Engagements run with deliberate overlap against your working hours, and every project has a single point of contact in your timezone so nothing waits overnight for an answer.
That is most of what we do. We start from your process rather than from a template, and we are equally willing to tell you when an off-the-shelf platform would serve you better than a bespoke build — configuring something proven is often the faster, cheaper answer.
A focused discovery runs two to four weeks. A first production release is typically eight to sixteen weeks depending on integration surface and compliance load, and larger transformation programmes run in quarterly phases with something shippable at the end of each. You get a milestone-level estimate before you commit, not after.
Yes. Advisory retainers cover architecture review, security oversight, technology selection and fractional CTO support for teams that have their own builders and need senior judgement. Plenty of clients start here and never need anything more.
Book a 30-minute consultation using the scheduler on our contact page. It is free, and there is no deck. We will ask what you are trying to change, what has already been tried and what constraints you are working under — then tell you honestly whether we are the right firm and what a sensible first step looks like.
Support is part of the engagement, not a separate negotiation. That covers monitoring, agreed response times, security patching and a live improvement backlog. If you would rather run it in-house, we will document and hand over the system so your team can — that outcome is a success for us too.
